In 1999 a vision was had within five active leaders in the North 27th Street vicinity. Collectively they wanted to start a group where local leaders could go and grow their network and their business. They wanted an organization that would take an active voice in expanding the area and one that would also fight for the best interests of the businesses in that area. Out of this the Northview Lincoln Business Association was born.

Where are we currently? We have over 30 active members that meet monthly to discuss the events impacting our businesses and to assist in the growth of everyone's organization. We are a group that belongs to the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, thus allowing our members access to the Chamber events on behalf of Northview Lincoln Business Association. We also have a political voice that is heard when proposed action is to be taken in our area. We have accomplished our initial goals and are now expanding to reach even greater levels.
